Website Planning | Week 11
“First impressions are extremely important. It could even be the difference between life and death” – Bryce Ward 7/10/2020
It has been a little over a year when I wrote my first blog post. Along the way I have changed around the look and function to suit my needs and I believe now is a good time to start thinking about updating BryceWards.com.
The Goal For My Website
Ideally I want my website to be able to pay for itself so that I can continue to create these weekly posts and have a nice little source of extra income. Also I want to use BryceWards.com as a place for me to keep an online record of my accomplishments and current projects. For example, my Eagle Scout Project, BryceIsTubing, and my E-book project just to name a few.

What Needs Updating?
Currently my website is really major need of reworking. My landing page needs to be updated with a new intro video and introduction text. I would like to add a project/accomplishment page that lists out different blog posts or videos related to each project. Also I need to change around the way my blog posts are stored. Currently it is just a single column list of my most recent post to my oldest. I would love to set them up into a duel column and add a search filter to the page.

Thank You!
Hey, thank you for reading this week’s post. I am excited to start digging into the WordPress and learn how each of their tools work. Have you designed or worked with a WordPress website? Let me know down in the comments what your experience has been working with WordPress.
