Giving Back | Week 21
“Taking a step up is a way to improve oneself, but giving a hand to those below, you will help you raise even higher.“ – Bryce Ward 9/25/2020
Streaming For Chartiy 2020
For those of you who are familiar with my YouTube/Twitch channel, BryceIsTubing, you know every year I host a charity event every December to collect donations. These donations go towards non-profits making progress in improving the world we all live in. Streaming For Charity is my way of giving back to the community. The past two events have seen over $200 donated to 6 different non-profits. This year, I plan to create a scholarship grant for those who chose to go a different education path outside of a College Degree. For this year’s Streaming for Charity event, I aim to raise $200 as a scholarship for one lucky individual who chooses to join the Praxis Apprenticeship program during January 2021.

What Is Praxis And Why Praxis?
Praxis is an alternative to college. Praxis participants go through a six month Bootcamp to build an online portfolio of projects on their website. After the Bootcamp participants become an apprentice in a startup based anywhere in the United States, participants pay upfront $12,000 for the program. During the apprenticeship portion, they will earn $15 an hour working fulltime. As a result, participants will earn over $12,000 during their apprenticeship. They will have the ability to write their way into any company or start their own business if they so choose. Overall, Praxis allows its participants to avoid going into debt and spending the next four years of their lives working towards a piece of paper saying they are ready to start their careers.

I am choosing to create this Praxis scholarship. This is my way of giving back to the community that has helped me avoid a stressful four years sitting in a college classroom and provided me with the tools to function independently. Thanks to Praxis, I am on my way to purchasing my first home at 20 years old. I am on my way to starting my first real company, and most importantly, I am more driven to better myself than ever before. I know I can talk all day about how awesome Praxis is; however, I want to put my money where my mouth is. To help the next generation become financially independent and build tomorrow’s businesses, I pledge to create a $200 Praxis Scholarship.

Thank You!
Hey, thank you for reading this week’s post. I am genuinely thankful to the Praxis community for guiding me onto a path that has put me ahead the crave for young adults my age. Next week I will go into more detail as to how I will raise money for the scholarship.
