How Was 2021?

“Close off the year knowing that you made progress towards your goals and start the new year with a newfound determination.” – Bryce Ward 12/31/2021

Intro

Another year has gone by, and 2022 is right around the corner. Let’s look at what I have accomplished in 2021 and write up a plan for 2022. Shall we?

Moving Out

Let’s start with the big question. Bryce, have you purchased a house yet? The short answer is no. This past year, I worked with Stupid Raisins and have been saving up for the big move. Plus, by the start of 2022, I will have two years of working as a contractor on my tax record, which will allow me to take out a home loan. As for where? Austin, Texas, seems to be the place to be for any young professional looking to build a marketing career. My plan for 2022 is to start looking for a good starter home or duplex and level up my income by switching employers. With that said, if you are looking for a young professional to help you market your small business online, then let me know!

Projects

BryceIsTubing

It’s been about four years since I started BryceIsTubing. I started BryceIstubing as a gaming channel to learn video editing and support causes I believed in. The Streaming For Charity fundraisers has raised over $800, impressive for such a small channel. While the channel itself never reached the level of stardom I hoped for, I learned a lot from recording, streaming, and editing videos. Plus, I met so many amazing people along the way, and the channel even helped me land a remote operations and marketing position at Stupid Raisins. With that said, I plan on putting BryceIsTubing on hold and focusing on other projects in 2022. I still plan on streaming on weekends with friends, but I have no plans to publish videos on YouTube. I also do not have any plans to host more fundraisers for the foreseeable future. Thank you to everyone who has donated to the fundraisers and enjoyed the content I put together. I learned a lot, and I aim to keep improving.

Tales of A Dungeon Master

On the writing front, I have published one fantasy short story every week of 2021. That’s a total of 50 posts! Now for the next step turning this collection into a book. While I have the knowledge and experience of selling a product online through Clickfunnels, I will need a hand with pre-production. That’s formatting the book, editing, and creating graphics for the book.

Drawing & Painting

This year my desire to create has expanded from the written form to the canvas. As such, I have taken up drawing and painting as a hobby. I’m focusing on learning to draw animals and anthropomorphic characters like my cheeky little lad below. By the end of 2022, I aim to reach a professional level with my drawings and paintings. Why learn to draw and paint Bryce? For the challenge of learning something new. Also, giving an artist a very detailed outline for a project could save me a lot of headache going back and forth over designs.

So What’s Next?

2022 will be a busy year for me; purchasing my first home, building up my marketing career, and exploring my artistic side. Not to mention publishing my first book! I’m looking forward to the new year and giving myself a fresh start to explore this crazy little world we all call home.

Thank You!

Hey, thank you for reading this week’s post! 2021 has had a lot of ups and downs, but I’m willing to end the year on a positive note. With that said, what did you accomplish this year? I’d love to see your response in the comments section below.

Thank you again for your time and for reading this post!

Have a fantastic day!

Sincerely,

-Bryce Ward
